Functional description

The power supply for the cigar lighter/current socket P050 is controlled by the ignition (INT/A), therefore excluded whilst the engine is being started, and is operated by relay T08. The relay coil receives a direct battery supply; when the ignition key is turned to position MAR, the relay closes its internal contact, thereby providing a supply to the current socket. The body computer M001 only supplies the current socket internal light, from pin 7 connector E, when the side lights are switched on (for further details See E2530 INSTRUMENT LIGHTING ).

Earth C020 is fastened to the passenger compartment floor and is located near the right front wheel arch (footwell area).
