Description
The front ceiling light is the rocker type and contains a courtesy light.The courtesy light is switched on/off according to the following logic:
- to switch the courtesy light on permanently, press the light on the right hand side;
- to switch the courtesy light off, press the light on the left hand side;
- for automatic management by the body computer node, keep the courtesy light in the centre position.
The body computer node switches the courtesy light on automatically in the following circumstances:
- when any of the doors (front or rear) is opened, for a maximum time of 3 minutes which is reactivated each time a door is opened;
- when the ignition key is removed, for a maximum time of 10 seconds;
- when the doors are unlocked (using the remote control or the driver/passenger door catch), for a maximum time of 15 minutes;
- by turning the ignition key to the OFF position, for a maximum time of 10 seconds;
- when the intertia switch is operated, for a maximum time of 15 minutes.
The body computer node switches off the courtesy light automatically in the following circumstances:
- when the ignition key is turned to the POS position;
- when the doors are locked (using the remote control or the driver's/passenger door catch)
- when the inertia switch is reactivated.
