| Then proceed as follows: with the engine running, manually engage the recirculation air intake function with the fan at the maximum speed. If the actuator works and the flap is driven, feel that the type of air flow alters during the movement. Deactivate the function by returning the actuator to the original condition. Identify the air intake casing grille on the vehicle and check by feeling the air intake with your hand in the switch from recirculation to outside air and vice versa. If the result of the check is positive, do not replace the actuator.
