After having carried out the initial test, the CITY warning light in the Instrument Panel Node should remain on constantly.

	Using the Examiner check, in the Instrument Panel Node ambient, that there are no errors and the following parameters are present.	Continue to Step 5	Impossible to connect with the Instrument Panel control unit	Continue to Step 2
			There are errors	Continue according to the instructions for the diagnostic equipment
2	ELECTRICAL POWER SUPPLY CHECK	All OK	Problems met	Operation
	Check that the Instrument Panel Node electrical power supply is correct.	Continue to Step 3	Positive and/or earth electrical power supply fault.	Replace the defective component (if a fuse is involved, search for the cause of the problem).
3	CHECK ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS	All OK	Problems met	Operation
	Check the electrical connections between the Body Computer and the Instrument Panel, in particular that each individual pin is correctly connected.	Continue to Step 4	Electrical connections not working.	Restore damaged electrical connections.
4	CHECK WITH DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT	All OK	Problems met	Operation
	Using the Examiner, check whether it is possible to connect with the Instrument Panel Node.	Continue to Step 6	Impossible to connect with the Instrument Panel control unit.	Replace the Instrument Panel Node control unit.
5	CHECK WITH ACTIVE DIAGNOSIS	All OK	Problems met	Operation
	With the Examiner in Instrument Panel Node ambient, check, in Active Diagnosis, that the driving warning light is correctly activated	Continue to Step 6	The component in question is not activated.	Replace the Instrument Panel Node control unit
6	CHECK WITH DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT	All OK	Problems met	Operation
	Using the Examiner, check, in the Body Computer Node ambient, that there are no errors and that the specific parameter varies.	Continue to Step 1	Impossible to connect with the Body Computer control unit.	Continue to Step 7
			There are errors	Continue according to the instructions for the diagnostic equipment
			The parameter values do not change	Continue to Step 10
7	ELECTRICAL POWER SUPPLY CHECK	All OK	Problems met	Operation
	Check that the Body Computer Node electrical power supply is correct.	Continue to Step 8	Positive and/or earth electrical power supply fault.	Replace the defective component (if a fuse is involved, search for the cause of the problem).

	Using the Examiner, check the possibility of connecting with the Body Computer Node.	Continue to Step 6	Impossible to connect with the Body Computer control unit.	Replace the Body Computer Node
10	CHECK ON CONNECTIONS	All OK	Problems met	Operation
	Check that the CITY button and the wiring with the Body Computer Node are working properly. See   E7045  ELECTRIC STEERING	Continue to Step 11	Button faulty	Replace faulty component
			Electrical wiring not working	Renew the damaged wiring.
