Bed in the clutch pedal by depressing to the end of its travel at least 4 or 5 times.1. Use a metal rule (1a) to measure the maximum travel (1b) of pedal (1c). | Pedal travel corresponds to the distance between the position of the pedal at the end of its travel and the position of the pedal when fully released. Measure the travel half way up the pedal. A force of at least 15 daN must be applied to move the pedal. |

| During installation or adjustment, the clutch release cable should not be subjected to kinking that could lead to permanent deformations in the sheath or cable that could in turn impede correct operation. Correct clutch pedal position is determined solely by the travel and NOT by pedal position in relation to the other pedals. |
