2752777 - 4110A10 steering wheel - r+r for replacement or checks

Before working on the Air Bag system, follow the safety instructions for working on the system very carefully (See 5580C - Air Bag System - Precautions).

Removing ( Refitting ) Disconnect the battery negative terminal. - 5580C18  air bag module - r+r

Before removing the steering wheel, position the wheels as far as possible parallel to the car's longitudinal axis.

1. Remove the shield.2. Unscrew the retaining nut.3. Remove the steering wheel by releasing from its cables.

Take great care not to damage the airbag wiring and horn switch wiring.

Refitting ( Removing ) Position the wiring in its seat on the steering wheel.Position the steering wheel on the steering shaft, aligning the reference marks on both parts.Tighten the nut to torque.

Position the guard on the nut. - 5580C18  air bag module - r+rConnect the battery terminals.Check the operation of the Air Bag system using the Examiner or other diagnostic equipment.
