2752823 - 4450A90 rear wheel alignment - check using optical equipment

The rear wheel alignment should be checked after the components which affect the wheel geometry have been subjected to the following checks:tyre inflation pressure;

The eccentricity and the orthogonality of the wheel rims should not exceed 3 mm;wheel bearing end float;Carry out the preliminary checks on the vehicle and remove any loads transported.Position the vehicle (in running order) on a lift with test equipment.Check the alignment of the rear wheels.

The rear suspension consists of a rigid axle and therefore the wheel alignment cannot be altered. If the rear wheels are not aligned, check the drive axle and the bodyshell.
