) Disconnect the battery negative terminal. - 7040A23 frame of instrument panel on facia - r r1. Undo the retaining bolts.Partially remove the instrument panel.2. Disconnect the electrical connection.

Refitting ( Removing

) Connect the electrical connection.

Position the instrument panel in its seating.Tighten the fixing bolts.

If the instrument panel needs to be replaced, the new component must be subjected to the Proxi initialisation procedure using the diagnostic station (Examiner).

After connecting the panel's electrical connection and before refitting it, check that the check phase of the EOBD warning light is carried out during KEY-ON. If the light does not come on or the check on the EOBD warning light has a negative result, check that the connector is fitted correctly in the panel.
