2753179 - 7040A10 instrument facia trim - r+r

Before working on the airbag system, the following preliminary operations must be carried out: (1) place the ignition key in the OFF position and extract it; (2) disconnect the battery terminals and insulate them; (3) wait for at least 10 minutes before continuing.

Removing ( Refitting )  - 5580C18  air bag module - r+r

Before removing the steering wheel, place the wheels as parallel as possible to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle.

 - 4110A10  steering wheel - r+r for replacement or checks - 7040A26  steering column trim - r+r - 5550A10  stalk unit assembly - r+r - 7040A23  frame of instrument panel on facia - r r - 5560B10  analogue control panel - r+r - 7040A28  TRIM on gearbox control panel - R.R. - 7040A37  fuse box cover - r r - 5580C26  LOCK BARREL KEY/SWITCH for deactivating passenger 'AIR BAG - R.R.Remove the compartment as described in the procedure: - 7040A18  glove compartment on facia - arrange - 5010C14  top outlet (one) on fascia - r+r (Both)  - 5580C22  AIR BAG MODULE - Passenger side - R.R. - 7040A78  radio compartment box r r - 7040A72  UPPER CENTRAL DOCUMENT HOLDER on dashboard - R.R . - 7040A56  switch panel/support(push buttons)-r r - 5020B22  heater control support control (one) - arrange (All)  - 7040A17  air conditioner controls1. Remove the trims using a suitable tool. 1. Disconnect the electrical connection and release the ignition switch wiring from the fastenings.

1. Undo the retaining bolts.2. Remove the dashboard trim.

Take great care not to damage the vehicle fittings and the electrical wiring when removing the dashboard trim.

Refitting ( Removing ) Position the dashboard trim.Tighten the bolts.

Take great care not to damage the vehicle fittings and the electrical wiring when positioning the dashboard trim.

Connect the electrical connection and secure the ignition switch wiring.

Place the trims in position. - 7040A17  air conditioner controls - 5020B22  heater control support control (one) - arrange (All)  - 7040A56  switch panel/support(push buttons)-r r - 7040A72  UPPER CENTRAL DOCUMENT HOLDER on dashboard - R.R . - 7040A78  radio compartment box r r - 5580C22  AIR BAG MODULE - Passenger side - R.R. - 5010C14  top outlet (one) on fascia - r+r (Both) Fit the compartment as described in the procedure: - 7040A18  glove compartment on facia - arrange - 5580C26  LOCK BARREL KEY/SWITCH for deactivating passenger 'AIR BAG - R.R. - 7040A37  fuse box cover - r r - 7040A28  TRIM on gearbox control panel - R.R. - 5560B10  analogue control panel - r+r - 7040A23  frame of instrument panel on facia - r r - 5550A10  stalk unit assembly - r+r - 7040A26  steering column trim - r+r - 4110A10  steering wheel - r+r for replacement or checks - 5580C18  air bag module - r+rConnect the battery terminals.Check the operation of the Air Bag system using the Examiner or other diagnostic equipment.
