2753506 - E2011 DIPPED HEADLAMPS - Functional description
Functional description
The low beam activation control is issued by stalk unit H005 by turning lever unit A and B (both switches perform the same synchronous movement) to position 2..Body computer node M001:
- receives a negative signal ( relating to earth C020) at pin 2 (side lights) and pin 7 (high beams) connector P.
Earth C020 is fastened to the passenger compartment floor and positioned near the right front wheel arch (footwell area). |
When the signal has been received, it turns on the side lights (see wiring diagram E2010) and low beams.
- from pins 7 and 8 connector B, it supplies the low beams housed in the front light clusters F010 and F011;
Supply lines protected by fuses F12, F13 are controlled by a relay housed in the body computer node. |
Body computer node M001:
- receives a negative signal ( relating to earth C020 connector B) at pin 5 connector P See E2012 MAIN BEAM HEADLAMPS .
Once it has received the signal, it turns on the low beams:
- from pins 7 and 8 of connector B, it supplies the low beams housed in front light clusters F010 and F011;
