The high beam activation control is issued by stalk H005 by turning lever unit C to position 1only after activating the low beams See E2011 DIPPED HEADLAMPS .Body computer node M001:
- receives a negative signal (relating to earth C020 connector B) at pin 5 connector P.
Earth C020 is fastened to the passenger compartment floor and is located near the right front wheel arch (footwell). |
Once it has received the signal, it turns on the hgih beams:
- from pin 17 connector C it sends a negative signal to the coil of relay T02, supplied by an ignition-operated line protected by fuse F31;
- The relay closes its internal contact and supplies a direct batter supply from pin 83 connector D of B001 to the high beams housed in front light clusters F010 and F011.
