Move the load carrying compartment lining
away from the work area.1. Undo the rear bolts fixing the rear seat cushion.
1. Undo the front bolts fixing the rear seat cushion.2. Remove the rear seat cushion.
1. Remove the submerged pump protective cover.2. Disconnect the pipe rapid connector from the submerged pump.
- 1040E22 fuel pipe protection - r rPosition a hydraulic lift to support the
fuel tank.1. Undo the bolts fixing the fuel tank.2. Lower the fuel tank using the hydraulic lift positioned previously.
1. Disconnect the rapid connector and remove the rear fuel supply
pipe.
Refitting

Fit the rapid connector for the rear pipe
on the front fuel supply pipe connector.Fit the rapid connector for the rear fuel
supply pipe on the submerged pump.Secure the pipe to the retaining bands
on the fuel tank.Raise the fuel tank using the hydraulic
lift and tighten the bolts fixing it to the bodyshell to torque.
