Removing ( Refitting ) Position the driveshaft in a vice.1. Remove the sliding joint circlip.2. Release the sliding joint (2a) from the driveshaft (2b). 1. Remove the sliding joint boot band.2. Release the boot from the driveshaft. Refitting ( Removing ) Position the sliding joint boot band on the driveshaft.Fit the sliding joint boot on the driveshaft.Fit the sliding joint on the driveshaft.Fit the sliding joint circlip.Position the sliding joint boot correctly and tighten the band.Fill the sliding joint boot with grease.
