1. Position the cylinder head in the vice, supporting it with a
suitable tool.

2. Remove the thermostat and the gasket underneath undoing the bolts
shown.
Refitting

Position the thermostat in the housing
in the cylinder head, having first replaced the relevant seal. Secure
the thermostat using the relevant bolts.
