2752652 - 1820A14 clutch pedal - adjust travel

Bed in the clutch pedal by depressing to the end of its travel at least 4 or 5 times.1. Use a metal rule (1a) to measure the maximum travel (1b) of pedal (1c).
Pedal travel corresponds to the distance between the position of the pedal at the end of its travel and the position of the pedal when fully released. Measure the travel half way up the pedal. A force of at least 15 daN must be applied to move the pedal.
If the value measured is different from the specified value, adjust the cable.2. Tighten or slacken the adjustment nut and adjust the pedal travel to the 115 mm.Settle the clutch pedal by depressing fully at least 4 or 5 times and check that the travel is within the recommended value given below.

During installation or adjustment, the clutch release cable should not be subjected to kinking that could lead to permanent deformations in the sheath or cable that could in turn impede correct operation. Correct clutch pedal position is determined solely by the travel and NOT by pedal position in relation to the other pedals.
Settle the clutch pedal by depressing fully at least 4 or 5 times.Check the clutch pedal travel again.
