Description

The vehicle is fitted with two special main beam headlamps.

These are activated:

• with the dipped beams on, by pushing the stalk toward the facia (stable mode);
• in flashing mode, by pulling the stalk toward the steering wheel (unstable mode).

The circuit is protected by a special fuse and controlled by a relay - both located in the engine bay control unit.A warning light in the instrument panel signals that the main beams have been switched on.During engine start-up (key ON), the main beams are temporarily turned off and then turned back on when the engine is started.
