Operational description
The high beam activation control is issued by stalk unit H005 , turning stalk unit C to position 1, only after turning on the low beams See E2011 DIPPED HEADLAMPSThe body computer node M001:
- receives a negative signal ( with reference to earth C020 connector B) at pin 2 connector L.
Earth C020 is secured to the passenger compartment floor and is positioned near the right front wheel arch (footwell area). |
Once the signal has been received, the high beams are turned on:
- from pin 17 of connector C, it sends a negative signal to the coil of relay T02, which receives an ignition-operated supply from a line protected by fuse F31;
- the relay closes its internal contact and sends a direct battery power supply from pin 83 connettore D of B001 , to high beams F012 and F013 .
