Operational Description

The radio receiver node M094

- From connector A:

  • pin 4: receives an ignition-operated supply from the line protected by fuse F35; the power supply is distributed by the short circuit coupling D097E to the controls on the steering wheel (pin 5);
  • pin 7: receives a direct battery power supply from the line protected by fuses F39 and F01;
  • pin 8: connection to earth C020connector B;
  • pin 6: receives the side lights on signal for managing the instrument lighting;
  • pin 5: connection with the aerial P025;
  • pin 1, 3: connection to the CAN [EL1050].
Earth C020 is secured to the passenger compartment floor and is positioned near the right front wheel arch (footwell area).

- From connector B:

  • pin 1, 2, 7, 8: connection with the rear speakers P040 and P041; for the Hi-Fi type system, the sub-woofer P092 is also connected to the same lines;
  • pin 3, 4, 5, 6: connection to the front speakers P035 and P036; for the Hi-Fi system the front tweeters P045 and P046 are connected to the same lines;
From connector C, it provides the power supply for the sub-woofer P092 located under the front passenger seat for the Hi-Fi system.

- From connector D:

  • pin 10, 11: it receives the signals coming from the controls on the steering wheel;
  • pin 12, it provides the reference earth for the controls on the steering wheel.
From connector E it interfaces with the CD cartridge P075 housed inside the glove compartment.The infotelematic node M065 receives the milometer signal at pin 11 supplied by the body computer M001.Pins 9 and 18 receive reference signals from the hands-free microphone P026 whilst pin 12 is earthed.The E-CALL function which activates a call to the emergency centre is activated from pin 5 of the infotelematic node.
Couplings D020 and D031 are housed, in the passenger compartment, in the lower part of the right front pillar, near the door cable loom, passenger side. Coupling D030 is housed, in the passenger compartment, in the lower part of the left front pillar, near the door cable loom, driver side.
