The vehicle is equipped with a device that makes it possible
to adjust the the headlight beam, depending on the load, directly
from the driver's seat. The headlamps are thus always aligned quickly
and correctly. The adjustment device consists of a motor
mounted on each of the two headlamps which tilts them as appropriate,
lowering the light beam if the car is heavily laden, and raising
it if the load decreases.A special control in the instrument panel
makes it possible to select four possible positions. The upper switch decreases the value of
the position (the light beam is raised), the lower switch increases
the value of the position (the light beam is lowered). The switch
should be pressed for 200 ms. If the switch is pressed for longer,
there are no increases or decreases; the switches should be released
and pressed again to change position. The device is only enabled when the dipped
headlamps are switched on.
