2752837 - 4450C34 bearing of one front wheel hub, l/h or r/h - replace with pillar removed

Removing ( Refitting ) 1. Remove the front hub (1a) from the steering knuckle (1b) using a press (1c).
1. Position the front wheel hub in a vice.2. Move the bearing inner race away from the hub, using a chisel, to allow the extractor arms to be fitted.
When carrying out this operation, take the utmost care not to damage the front wheel hub.
1. Remove the front hub bearing inner race using the tool (1a) fitted with components (1b) and (1c).

1. Place the front hub in a vice.2. Remove the front hub bearing circlip.
1. Remove the front hub bearing from the steering knuckle (1a) using a press (1b) and the tool (1c).

Refitting ( Removing ) Check that the intenal surfaces of the front steering knuckle do not show seizure marks and that the arms have not been struck or are showing signs of breakage. If they do, replace the steering knuckle. 1. Fit front hub bearing (1a) onto the strut using hydraulic press (1b) and fitting tool (1c).
