184000762 - 0010T62 POWER STEERING FLUID CHECK LEVEL AND TOP UP IF NECESSARY

Position the vehicle on the ramp1. Remove the protective cap on the brake caliper bleed valve.2. Connect the collection system (pipe and reservoir) to the bleed valve on the brake caliper.3. Open the bleed valve on the brake caliper.Operate the brake pedal until all the fluid has come out.Repeat the above operations for the other brake caliper and the two rear brake cylinders.
Proceed with removal    Op. 5530B10 BATTERY - R+R.Proceed with removal    Op. 5530B52 BATTERY DRIP TRAY/SUPPORT - R.R..1. Remove the cap on the bleed valve.2. Connect the collection system (pipe and reservoir) to the bleed valve on the master cylinder.3. Loosen the bleed screw and let the hydraulic clutch system drain completely.4. Connect the tool to the brake-clutch fluid reservoir.

5. Slowly open the cock on the reservoir of the device and fill the brake-clutch systems with the specified fluid.

Wait until the air contained in the hydraulic brake-clutch systems has fully emerged.
During the bleeding, refill the brake fluid reservoir, as necessary.
The collected brake/clutch fluid must not be reused. The level should always be topped up with new fluid.
Close the bleed valves on the brake calipers/rear wheel cylinders and fit the protective caps.Tighten the bleed screw.
Bleed screw tightening torque should not exceed 0.35 daNm.
Remove the fluid collection devices.Place the cap in its housing on the bleed valve.Remove the equipment.

Proceed with refitting    Op. 5530B52 BATTERY DRIP TRAY/SUPPORT - R.R..Proceed with refitting    Op. 5530B10 BATTERY - R+R.Remove the car from the ramps.Check the efficiency of clutch release, gear engagement and the braking system.
If, after having carried out the bleeding operation, the system is not fully operational, repeat the entire procedure after having waited several hours for the brake fluid to settle down in the system.
