Remove the camshaft protective plugs on the cylinder head extension. Op. 1056B60 SINGLE FUEL MANIFOLD PIPE, WITH INJECTORS - R + R2. Rotate the camshaft, using small movements, and fit the camshaft timing tools. 1036L40 mount for seal on camshaft in cylinder head extension complete with coil/s - includes cleaning of mating surfaces sealant application

The camshaft timing adjustment tools are also used for leverage when unscrewing/tightening rear gear bolts.

1. Undo bolts (1a) and remove the camshaft idler gears (1b).

Refitting ( Removing

) 1. Place the camshaft idler gears (1a) back in their housings and tighten bolts (1b) to the recommended torque.

1. Remove the camshaft timing tools.

2. Tighten the protective plugs for the camshafts on the cylinder head extension to the specified torque.
