Proceed with removal Op. 1048A10 AIR CLEANER FILTERING ELEMENT - REPLACEProceed with removal1. Disconnect the electrical connection for the front Lambda sensor for the catalytic converter. Op. 1072C44 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT SHIELD ON BULKHEAD - R+R2. Disconnect the electrical connection for the rear Lambda sensor for the catalytic converter.3. Undo the nuts fixing the exhaust manifold and catalytic converter to the cylinder head.

1. Undo the nuts fixing the exhaust manifold and catalytic converter to the exhaust silencer.2. Undo the bolt fixing the exhaust manifold and catalytic converter mounting bracket to the manual gearbox/engine connecting bracket.

1. Remove the exhaust manifold with catalytic converter.2. Remove the gaskets.

Refitting ( Removing

) Refit the catalytic converter in its seat complete with gaskets.1. Tighten the bolt fixing the exhaust manifold and catalytic converter mounting bracket to the manual gearbox/engine connecting bracket to the specified torque.

2. Tighten the nuts fixing the exhaust manifold and catalytic converter to the exhaust silencer to the recommended torque.

1. Tighten the nuts fixing the exhaust manifold with catalytic converter to the cylinder head to the recommended torque.

2. Connect the electrical connection for the rear Lambda sensor for the catalytic converter.3. Connect the electrical connection for the front Lambda sensor for the catalytic converter.

Proceed with refitting Op. 1072C44 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT SHIELD ON BULKHEAD - R+R.Proceed with refitting Op. 1048A10 AIR CLEANER FILTERING ELEMENT - REPLACE.Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.Remove the car from the ramps.
