184001154 - 2127C40 HYDRAULIC SPEED SELECTION HYDRAULIC ACTUATOR UNIT AND CLUTCH - R R (Robotized gearbox)

Removing ( Refitting ) - Position the vehicle on a lift.- Connect the Examiner and carry out the hydraulic gear actuation circuit depressurizing procedure.

In order for the depressurizing procedure to be successful it is necessary that: there are no errors present and the brake pedal is kept pressed.

Disconnect the electrical connection from the pump; if the ignition is turned ON the circuit operating pressure will be restored (45 bar approx).

- Place the gearbox in neutral, lever in position N.    Op. 5530B10 BATTERY - R+R    Op. 5530B52 BATTERY DRIP TRAY/SUPPORT - R.R.    Op. 2127C13 1. Discconnect the electrical connection from the gearbox input shaft speed sensor.

1. Undo the lower bolts fixing the electro-hydraulic gear selection hydraulic implementation unit and clutch. 1. Disconnect the electrical connection connecting the hydraulic gear activation unit wiring.

1. Undo the bolt (1a) and disconnect the earth lead (1b) from the hydraulic activation unit. 1. Undo the upper bolts (1a) and (1b) fixing the hydraulic gear implementation unit. 1. Raise the hydraulic gear implementation unit from the gearbox, rotate it forwards and remove it permanently from underneath the vehicle complete with wiring. Refitting ( Removing ) - Remove the sealant residues from the gearbox-hydraulic actuator unit mating surfaces.1. Apply a strip of the recommended silicon sealant to the gearbox in the area shown in the diagram.

2. Check the alignment of the gear engagement forks on the gearbox. 1. Place the gear selection and engagement device for the hydraulic gear implementation unit in neutral.2. Check the position of the centering bushes. - Fit the hydraulic gear actuator unit on the gearbox taking care to fit the contact surfaces together fully and uniformly.- Retract the clutch control push rod and place it in contact with the clutch release lever.1. Tighten the upper bolts fixing the hydraulic gear actuation unit to the recommended torque:

- Connect the earth lead to the hydraulic actuation unit and secure with the bolt.- Connect the electrical connection connecting the hydraulic gear actuation unit wiring.1. Tighten the lower bolts fixing the hydraulic gear actuation unit to the recommended torque:

- Connect the electrical connection to the gearbox input shaft speed sensor.    Op. 0010T47 HYDRAULIC SYSTEM FLUID FOR GEARBOX WITH HYDRAULIC SELECTION CHECK LEVEL AND TOP UP IF NECESSARY    Op. 0010T48 HYDRAULIC SYSTEM FOR GEARBOX WITH HYDRAULIC SELECTION BLEED AIR    Op. 2127C13     Op. 5530B52 BATTERY DRIP TRAY/SUPPORT - R.R.    Op. 5530B10 BATTERY - R+R- Connect the Examiner and run the initialisation procedure for the gear selector/engagement position settings and check that the engagement position travel is correct.- Remove the vehicle from the lift.
