1. Remove the passenger footwell air supply vent protection working on the clips.2. Undo the bolts (2a) and remove the protection (2b) for the electro-hydraulic selection gearbox system electronic control unit. 1. Undo the nuts (1a) and remove the bracket (1b) securing the electro-hydraulic selection gearbox system electronic control unit.2. Disconnect the electrical connections from the electro-hydraulic selection gearbox electronic control unit.

3. Remove the electro-hydraulic selection gearbox electronic control unit.

Refitting ( Removing

) - Place the electro-hydraulic selection gearbox electronic control unit back in its housing.- Connect the electrical connections to the electro-hydraulic selection gearbox electronic control unit.- Place the mounting bracket for the electro-hydraulic selection gearbox electronic control unit back in its housing and secure it using the nuts.- Place the protection for the electro-hydraulic selection gearbox electronic control unit back in its housing and secure it using the bolts.- Place the passenger footwell air supply vent protection in its housing.- Connect the negative battery terminal.- Only in the case of replacement, connect the Examiner and run the initialisation procedure for the gear engagement/selection positions and check that the engagement position travel is correct.
