Proceed with removal Op. 2127C13 .1. Disconnect the electrical connection of the gear selection position potentiometer.

2. Undo the bolts (2a) and remove the gear selection position sensor (2b).3. Loosen the bolts (3a) and remove the electro-hydraulic gear selection position sensor (3b).4. Remove the O-ring from the seating of the gear selection position sensor mounting.

Refitting ( Removing

) Fit a new O-ring in the specific groove in the seating of the gear selection position sensor mounting.Fit the electro-hydraulic gear selection position sensor and fix it using the bolts.Refit the gear selection position potentiometer in its seat and secure with bolts, taking are to load the potentiometer.Connect the electrical connection to the gear selection position potentiometer electrical connection.Proceed with refitting Op. 0010T47 HYDRAULIC SYSTEM FLUID FOR GEARBOX WITH HYDRAULIC SELECTION CHECK LEVEL AND TOP UP IF NECESSARY.Proceed with refitting Op. 0010T48 HYDRAULIC SYSTEM FOR GEARBOX WITH HYDRAULIC SELECTION BLEED AIR.Proceed with refitting Op. 2127C13 .Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.Connect an Examiner, initialise the gear engagement/selection positions and check the engagement travel is correct.Remove the car from the ramps.
