) Place the gear lever in neutral, N.Proceed with removal Op. 5530B10 BATTERY - R+R.Proceed with removal Op. 5530B52 BATTERY DRIP TRAY/SUPPORT - R.R..1. Undo the bolt securing the bracket (1a) and move aside the electrical wiring (1b).

1. Disconnect the electrical connection from the gear engagement position sensor.

2. Undo the bolts (2a) and remove the gear engagement position sensor (2b).3. Undo the bolts (3a) and remove the rear position signal relay (3b).

Refitting ( Removing

) 1. Fit the gear position signal relay, making sure to match the fork (1a) with the engagagement pin (1b) and secure it with its bolts.

Fit the gear engagement position sensor on the gear position signal relay, making sure to charge the potentiometer.

The potentiometer is charged by engaging the sensor on the rear position signal relay drive shaft and making it rotate by ninety degrees in relation to the final fitting position.

Connect the electrical connection to the gear engagement position sensor.Secure the electrical wiring bracket.Proceed with refitting Op. 0010T47 HYDRAULIC SYSTEM FLUID FOR GEARBOX WITH HYDRAULIC SELECTION CHECK LEVEL AND TOP UP IF NECESSARY.Proceed with refitting Op. 0010T48 HYDRAULIC SYSTEM FOR GEARBOX WITH HYDRAULIC SELECTION BLEED AIR.Proceed with refitting Op. 5530B52 BATTERY DRIP TRAY/SUPPORT - R.R..Proceed with refitting Op. 5530B10 BATTERY - R+R.Connect an Examiner, initialise the gear engagement/selection positions and check the engagement travel is correct.
