Removing ( Refitting ) Position the vehicle on the ramp1. Undo the upper bolts fixing the rear suspension shock absorbers to the bodyshell.2. Remove the rear suspension coil spring. Refitting ( Removing ) .

Before refitting the rear suspension coil spring, check that there are no cracks or distortions which would adversely affect its operation.

The rear suspension coil springs are divided into two categories, identified by a stripe of paint on the centre coil. The springs fitted on the vehicle must belong to the same category.

Place the rear suspension coil spring in its housing, positioning it correctly on the rear suspension axle.Lower the vehicle so that the rear wheels are completely touching the ground.Tighten the top bolt securing the rear suspension shock absorber to the bodyshell to the specified torque.

Remove the car from the ramps.
