Open the bonnet lid.1. Undo the moulding retaining stud, using the special tool.

2. Remove the moulding by withdrawing in the arrowed direction (see cross section diagram).
1. If necessary, remove the moulding retaining channel (1a) by detaching the double-sided adhesive strip (1b) from the body.

Check the moulding and channel are undamaged.1. Before refitting channel (1a), clean the body area to be bonded with heptane.2. Position channel (1a) in the seat (as in the cross section diagram), aligning the lower end (2a) with the body profile (2b). Position in its seat without removing the protective film (2c) from the adhesive tape (2d), except for the first edge (2e).3. With the channel (1a) in place, remove protective film (2e) section by section and gradually stick channel (1a) to the body.4. Refit the moulding (4a). Do not proceed as during removal, but position the moulding over channel (1a) and then fit in place by doing up the retainer (see cross section).
