Removing ( Refitting ) - Position the vehicle on a lift.    Op. 4450B12 FRONT OR REAR WHEELS (TWO) - R+R    Op. 7055B66 ENGINE COMPARTMENT DUST SHIELD PROTECTION IN RIGHT FRONT WHEEL ARCH - R.R.    Op. 7055B91 RIGHT FRONT WHEEL ARCH LINER - R.R.    Op. 7055B90 LEFT FRONT WHEEL ARCH LINER - R.R.    Op. 5530B10 BATTERY - R+R    Op. 5530B52 BATTERY DRIP TRAY/SUPPORT - R.R.    Op. 1048A10 AIR CLEANER FILTERING ELEMENT - REPLACE    Op. 2127C13     Op. 2127C40 HYDRAULIC SPEED SELECTION HYDRAULIC ACTUATOR UNIT AND CLUTCH - R R1. Loosen the collar and disconnect the engine oil vapour inlet pipe from the cam cover.2. Disconnect the engine oil vapour inlet pipe from the intake manifold.3. Loosen the collar, disconnect the hose from the air filter to the intake manifold, intake manifold side and remove it. 1. Undo the plug and drain the transmission fluid.
Collect the transmission fluid in a suitable container.
1. Undo the nut (1a) and disconnect the steering links (1b) from the steering knuckles using the tool (1c).

2. Unscrew the bolts securing the front stub axles to their front shock absorbers. 1. Loosen collars (1a) and disconnect drive shafts (1b). - Position a hydraulic jack beneath the gearbox.1. Undo bolt (1a), bolt (1b) and remove the lower power unit reaction link (1c).- Remove the hydraulic jack from beneath the gearbox 1. Undo the upper bolts fixing the manual gearbox and differential unit to the engine block.2. Undo the starter motor front fixing bolt. 1. Open the protective cover (1a), loosen the nut (1b) and disconnect the starter motor electrical connections (1c).

2. Undo the rear bolt (2a) and remove the starter motor (2b). Op. 7055A43 CENTRAL FRONT GRILLE - R R1. Fit the tool (1a) complete with support mountings (1b).

2. Fit the tools (2a) and (2b), then connect them to the brackets on the engine using links (2c).

1. Undo the nut securing the power unit gearbox side rigid support to the flexible mounting. 1. Release the supply pipe from the master cylinder (1a) from the bands (1b).2. Undo the bolts (2a) and remove the power unit gearbox side rigid support (2b). 1. Loosen the bolt fixing the gearbox-differential unit to the engine block.2. Undo the bolts fixing the engine flywheel protective cover to the manual gearbox and differential.3. Undo the bolts fixing the manual gearbox-differential unit to the crankcase sump.4. Undo the bolt fixing the manual gearbox and differential unit to the engine block. 1. Fit the tool (1a) equipped with a hydraulic jack (1b) to the manual gearbox and differential.

2. Completely undo the bolt loosened previously fixing the manual gearbox-differential unit to the engine block.3. Remove the manual gearbox and differential firstly moving it away from the engine and then lowering it slowly using the hydraulic jack.
Take care not to damage the engine compartment components whilst removing the manual gearbox and differential.
Refitting ( Removing ) - Place the manual gearbox and differential back in its housing using the hydraulic jack and the support tool.- Temporarily secure the manual gearbox and differential to the engine block using the bolt.- Remove the tool supporting the manual gearbox and differential and the hydraulic jack.

3. Tighten the bolts fixing the manual gearbox-differential unit to the crankcase sump to the specified torque.

4. Tighten the bolts fixing the engine flywheel protective cover to the manual gearbox and differential. 1. Place the power unit gearbox side rigid support (1a) in its housing and secure it to the gearbox tightening the bolts (1b) to the recommended torque.

2. Fasten the supply pipe from the master cylinder (2a) using the bands (2b). 1. Tighten the nut securing the power unit gearbox side rigid support to the flexible mounting to the recommended torque.

Op. 7055A43 CENTRAL FRONT GRILLE - R R1. Place the starter motor (1a) in its housing and secure it tightening the bolts (1b) to the recommended torque.

2. Connect the electrical connections (2a) to the starter motor, tighten the nut (2b) and close the protective cover (2c). 1. Place the power unit lower reaction link (1a) back in its housing, then secure it by tightening the bolt (1b) and the bolt (1c) to the specified torque.

- Connect the driveshafts and tighten the bands.1. Tighten the bolts securing the front steering knuckles to the front shock absorbers to the recommended torque.
