Disconnect the electrical connection from the ABS electronic control unit.

1. Undo the connectors (1a) and disconnect the rigid brake pipes (1b) from the A.B.S. hydraulic and electronic control unit.

1. Withdraw the retaining clips2. Undo the connector (2a) and disconnect the rigid pipe from the hydraulic unit to the left right brake (2b), hose side, using tool (2c)

3. Release the rigid pipe from the hydraulic control unit to the left front brake from the fastenings.

1. Working in the wheel compartment, remove the rigid pipe from the hydraulic unit to the left front brake.

Refitting ( Removing

)

The letters indicating to which caliper and to which brake pump outlet they should be connected at stamped on the control unit at each outlet.

Place in its seating the rigid pipe from the hydraulic unit to the front left brake and secure it with its fastenings.1. Connect the rigid pipe from the hydraulic control unit to the front right brake (1a), flexible pipe side, and tighten the connector (1b) to the recommended torque using tool (1c).

2. Refit the retaining clip in its seat.

1. Connect rigid brake pipes (1a) to the A.B.S. hydraulic and electronic control unit and tighten the connectors (1b) to the specified torque.

Connect the electrical connection to the A.B.S. electronic control unit.Proceed with refitting Op. 3340B52 PUMP/CENTRAL OBS PIPE - R R.Proceed with refitting Op. 0010T64 BRAKE AND OR CLUTCH FLUID CHECK LEVEL AND TOP UP AS NECESSARY.Proceed with refitting Op. 0010T65 HYDRAULIC BRAKE SYSTEM BLEED AIR.Proceed with refitting Op. 7055B90 LEFT FRONT WHEEL ARCH LINER - R.R..Proceed with refitting Op. 4450B02 LEFT FRONT WHEEL R R.Proceed with refitting Op. 7055B54 UNDER-ENGINE GUARD - R R.Proceed with refitting Op. 5530B52 BATTERY DRIP TRAY/SUPPORT - R.R..Proceed with refitting Op. 5530B10 BATTERY - R+R.Remove the car from the ramps.
