Removing ( Refitting ) Open the bonnet.1. Rotate the cover retainer.2. Disconnect the electrical connection for the headlamp.3. Remove the cover (3a) releasing the retainer (3b). 1. Disconnect the electrical connection.2. Rotate the motor and extract it gently (bayonet fitting).3. Release the motor ball (3a) from the housing (3b).4. Keep the motor. Refitting ( Removing ) Check that the motor is not damaged.Check the electrical connection and position the motor.1. Check that the ball (1a) is correctly fitted in the housing (1b) when fitting the motor (1c) (bayonet fitting). Refit the cover correctly, exerting pressure in the centre of it, until it clicks into place. Check that it is secured.Refit the cover retainer.Connect the electrical connection for the headlamp.Check that the headlamp alignment corrector is working properly by operating the switch in the passenger compartment with the dipped headlamps turned on.If necessary,    Op. 5540B38 HEADLAMP/LIGHT CLUSTER LIGHT BEAM - POSITION
