Operational description
The EOBD central tester output is built into Body Computer M1 connector C.It is supplied directly by the battery at pin 16 of the line protected by fuse F39 of underfacia control unit B2 ; pins 4 and 5 are earthed.Pin 1 is connected to the K line at ABS control unit M50 (pin 11) See E7020 ABSPin 7 is connected, via the K line, to the engine management control unit M10 See E5030 PETROL ENGINE ELECTRONIC MANAGEMENTor See E5050 DIESEL ENGINES ELECTRONIC MANAGEMENTPin 7 is also connected to, if present, the control unit of robotised gearbox M54(pin 49 of connector A) See E7051 ROBOTIZED GEARBOXPin 9 is connected to power steering control unit M86 (pin 4 of connector B) See E7045 ELECTRIC STEERING.Pin 6 and 14 are connected to the B-CAN network: this network monitors and tests underfacia control unit B2, instrument panel E50 , driver side door control units M66 , passenger side door M67 , and boot compartment M63 , radio P20 and steering wheel controls D47 , climate control system control unit M70 , Air Bag control unit M60 and parking sensor control unit M84 See E1050 CAN CONNECTION LINES.
