With the ignition ON, the windscreen wipers do not work when there is water on the windscreen
If the vehicle is equipped with a rain sensor, the intermittent position corresponds, in reality, to the AUTO position, in other words, depending on the sensitivity setting the windscreen wipers are activated automatically if rain is detected.
