1. Undo the bolts (1a), then remove the lubrication pipe (1b) of the camshaft journals and camshaft caps (1c).2. Remove the camshaft (2a) complete with oil seal (2b).

Refitting ( Removing

) Refit the camshaft to the cylinder head.Refit the camshaft caps and camshaft journal lubrication pipe.Tighten the camshaft cap bolts to the specified torque.

1. Fit a new crankshaft front oil seal (1a) using the tool (1b).

Place the cam cover, complete with gasket, back in its housing and secure it tightening the bolts to the recommended torque.
