Remove the running board connector.1. Move the upper section of the floor covering near the passenger side dashboard aside.2. Disconnect the electrical connection from the inertia switch.

3. Undo retaining nuts (3a) and remove inertia switch (3b)
Refitting

Place the inertia switch back in its housing.Connect the electrical connection to the inertia switch.Tighten the inertia switch fixing nuts.Put the floor trim back in its place.Place the running board connector back in its housing.Connect the negative (-) battery terminal
