Whenever any component of the pre-heating system is replaced/restored, a complete cycle should be carried out as follows: 'activation of plugs plus flashing of plugs warning light', so that the error may be cancelled correctly in the diesel electronic injection control unit, and so that the plugs warning light on the instrument panel does not continue to flash even if there are no faults in the preheating system.
Strictly follow the procedure below:Turn the ignition key ON and wait for the heater plugs warning light to go out (pre-heating stage).Start up the engine and wait for the deactivation of the heater plugs control unit (the heater plugs warning light should be off during this stage); If there is a fault in the preheating system, the plugs warning light starts flashing for about 30 seconds. At the end of this stage, turn the ignition OFF and repeat starting. If at the end of activation of the heater plug control unit the heater plugs warning light is no longer flashing (fault no longer present), delete the error using the Examiner.
