) Position the vehicle on the ramp.Proceed with removal 1016A10 sound-proofing cover - r + r .Proceed with removal Op. 1072C44 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT SHIELD ON BULKHEAD - R+R.Proceed with removal Op. 5530B10 BATTERY - R+R.Proceed with removal Op. 5530B52 BATTERY DRIP TRAY/SUPPORT - R.R..Proceed with removal Op. 1048A10 AIR CLEANER FILTERING ELEMENT - REPLACE.1. Undo the top bolt securing the exhaust gas connection, exhaust manifold side.

Proceed with removal Op. 7055B54 UNDER-ENGINE GUARD - R R.1. Undo the bottom bolt securing the exhaust gas connection, exhaust manifold side.Proceed with removal 1076B70 exhaust pipe between pre-catalytic converter and catalytic converter - r r .2. Loosen the bands and remove the air supply duct between turbocharger and heat exchanger.3. Loosen the band and disconnect the vacuum pipe shown in the figure from the solenoid valve for the turbocharger vanes actuator.4. Loosen the band and disconnect the pipe shown in the figure from the turbocharger.

1. Disconnect the electrical connection from the air flow meter.

2. Loosen the band and disconnect the oil recirculation pipe, on the side of the air inlet hose to the turbocharger.

1. Loosen the band and disconnect the air inlet hose to the turbocharger, turbocharger side.Remove the air supply hoses from the air filter to the turbocharger complete with air flow meter.

1. Loosen the collar (1a) and remove the exhaust gas connection pipe (1b).

Proceed with removal Op. 1084B42 ENGINE OIL RETURN PIPE FROM TURBO - R + R.1. Undo the bolts (1a) and remove from the crankcase the connector (1b) for the engine oil return pipe from the turbocharger complete with gasket.2. Undo connector (2a) and disconnect engine oil supply pipe to the turbocharger (2), crankcase side.

1. Disconnect the electrical connection for the Lambda sensor.

1. Undo and remove the Lambda sensor.

1. Undo the nuts (1a) and remove the exhaust manifold (1b) complete with turbocharger (1c) and catalytic preconverter (1d).2. Remove the exhaust manifold gasket.

Refitting ( Removing

) 1. Place the exhaust manifold gasket in the housing.2. Place the exhaust manifold (2a) back in its seating complete with turbocharger (2b) and catalytic preconverter (2c) and tighten the nuts (2d) to the specified torque.

1. Place the Lambda sensor back in its housing and tighten it to the specified torque.

Connect the electrical connection for the Lambda sensor.1. Connect the engine oil delivery pipe to the turbocharger (1a), crankcase side, and tighten the connector (1b) to the recommended torque.

2. Refit in its seat on the crankcase the connector (2a) for engine oil return pipe from the turbocharger complete with gasket and secure it with the bolts (2b).

Proceed with refitting Op. 1084B42 ENGINE OIL RETURN PIPE FROM TURBO - R + R.Refit in its seating the exhaust gas connection pipe and secure with its collar to the water/exhaust gas heat exchanger for E.G.R. system.Refit in their seatings the air supply hoses from air filter to turbocharger, complete with air flow meter.Connect the air intake sleeve to the turbocharger, turbocharger side, and tighten the band.Connect the engine oil recirculation pipe, turbocharger air intake sleeve side and tighten the band.Connect the electrical connection to the air flow meter.Connect the pipe to the turbocharger and tighten the band.Connect the vacuum pipe to the solenoid valve for the turbocharger vanes actuator and tighten the collar.Refit in its seating the air supply duct between turbocharger and heat exchanger and tighten the bands.Proceed with refitting 1076B70 exhaust pipe between pre-catalytic converter and catalytic converter - r r .Tighten the exhaust gas connection bottom bolt, exhaust manifold side.Proceed with refitting Op. 7055B54 UNDER-ENGINE GUARD - R R.Tighten the top bolt securing the exhaust gas connection, exhaust manifold side.Proceed with refitting Op. 1048A10 AIR CLEANER FILTERING ELEMENT - REPLACE.Proceed with refitting Op. 5530B52 BATTERY DRIP TRAY/SUPPORT - R.R..Proceed with refitting Op. 5530B10 BATTERY - R+R.Proceed with refitting Op. 1072C44 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT SHIELD ON BULKHEAD - R+R.Proceed with refitting 1016A10 sound-proofing cover - r + r .Remove the car from the ramps.
