Follow the recommended safety instructions (see 5040 - Precautions).

Undo the bolt (1a) and disconnect the connector (1b) for the pipe from the drier filter to the expansion valve.2. Undo the bolt (2a) and disconnect the connector (2b) for the pipe from the drier filter to the condenser.

Seal the connectors that have been disconnected using suitable plugs to prevent dampness and impurities from entering the system.

3. Undo the bolt (3a) for the collar (3b).4. Remove the drier filter.

Refitting ( Removing

) Check that the drier filter is intact and does not show signs of damage or deposits of dirt.1. Place the drier filter in position.

Replace the O rings for the connectors.

Only use green coloured seals that are resistant to R134a coolant.

Lubricate the connector threads using anti-freeze.

2. Connect the connector (2a) for the pipe from the drier filter to the condenser and secure it tightening the bolt (2b) to the recommended torque.

3. Connect the connector (3a) for the pipe from the drier filter to the expansion valve and secure it tightening the bolt (3b) to the recommended torque.

4. Secure the drier filter, tightening the collar (4b) bolt (4a).
