Place the vehicle on a lift. 1016A10 sound-proofing cover - r + r 1. Undo the upper nut (1a) fixing the engine oil dipstick (1b).
Raise the car.1. Undo the bolt (1a) and remove the engine oil dipstick (1b).2. Open the starter motor electrical connection cover.3. Disconnect the electrical connections (3b) for the starter motor.

4. Undo the starter motor retaining bolts.5. Keep the starter motor.
Refitting

Removing

Check that the starter motor is not damaged.1. Place the starter motor back in its housing.2. Tighten the bolts to the recommended torque.

3. Connect the electrical connections and close the protective cover.4. Place the engine oil dipstick back in position and secure it using the bolt and the nut.
