) Ensure that the ignition key is in OFF position, then disconnect the battery negative terminal (-).

1. Lift the rear seat cushion lift the floor covering to gain access to the fuel pump flap.2. Unscrew retaining bolts (2a) and remove protective cover (2b).3. Disconnect the electrical connection from the immersed pump assembly complete with gauge.

Undo the fuel filler cap and remove it to discharge the pressure in the system.4. Disconnect the rapid connectors (4a) and (4b) for the fuel supply and return pipes from the submerged pump assembly.

1. Undo the right nut (1a) fixing the immersed pump assembly complete with gauge using the tool (1b).

2. Remove the immersed pump assembly complete with gauge.Remove the O-ring.

Refitting ( Removing

) Refit the o-ring in its seat on the fuel tank collar and ensure it is correctly positioned.1. Place the submerged pump assembly complete with gauge back in its housing.

Fit the submerged pump assembly complete with gauge so that the arrow stamped on the cover is in line with the one on the tank.

2. Undo the ring nut (1a) securing the submerged pump assembly complete with gauge using tool (2b).

Disconnect the rapid attachment for the fuel supply pipe from the immersed pump assembly.Connect the electrical connection to the immersed pump assembly complete with gauge.Place the protective cover back in its housing and fix it using the bolts.Put the floor trim back in its place.Connect the negative (-) battery terminal
