) Ensure that the ignition key is in OFF position, then disconnect the battery negative terminal (-).

Proceed with removal 1016A10 sound-proofing cover - r + r .Open the fuel filler pipe cap.1. Undo the bolts (1a) and remove the fuel filter protection (1b).

1. Disconnect the quick-release connector of the fuel supply pipe, fuel filter side.2. Move aside the fuel filter and disconnect the electrical connection from the fuel temperature sensor.

3. Disconnect the electrical connection for the water-in-fuel filter sensor.

4. Disconnect the rapid connector for the fuel supply pipe from the filter to the pressure pump, fuel filter side.5. Disconnect the rapid attachment on the fuel return pipe from the filter to the fuel return manifold pipe, fuel filter side.6. Remove the complete fuel filter.

Refitting ( Removing

) Connect the rapid attachment of the fuel return pipe from the filter to the fuel return manifold pipe, fuel filter side.Connect the rapid connector for the fuel supply pipe from the filter to the pressure pump, fuel filter side.Connect the electrical connection to the water-in-fuel filter presence sensor.Connect the electrical connection to the fuel temperature sensor.Place the fuel filter in its housing.Connect the quick-release connector of the fuel supply pipe, fuel filter side.Place the protection for the fuel filter back in its housing and fix it using the bolts.Proceed with refitting 1016A10 sound-proofing cover - r + r .Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.
