Removing ( Refitting ) Place the vehicle on a lift.Drain the refrigerant (    Op. 0010T84 COOLANT FOR AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM DEHYDRATE AND RECHARGE).    Op. 4450B04 RIGHT FRONT WHEEL R R    Op. 7055B91 RIGHT FRONT SUPPLEMENTARY WHEEL ARCH R R    Op. 7055B66 ENGINE BAY DUSTGUARD PROTECTION IN RIGHT FRONT WHEEL ARCH R R1. Fit a spanner (1a) in the services belt tensioner socket (1b) and rotate it in the direction of the arrow, then release and remove the services belt (1c).
1. Undo the bolts (1a) and remove the belt guard (1b) from the compressor.2. Undo the blt (2a) releasing the bracket (2b).3. Undo the bolt (3a) and disconnect the connector (3b) for the pipe from the compressor to the condenser.4. Undo the bolt (4a) and disconnect the connector (4b) for the pipe from the compressor to the expansion valve.
Seal the disconnected connectors, using suitable plugs, to prevent humidity and impurities from entering the system.
1. Disconnect the electrical connection.

2. Undo the compressor fixing bolts.3. Keep the compressor.
If replacing the compressor, proceed as follows.1. Drain the fluid contained in the compressor through the openings connected to the pipes. If necessary, rotate the compressor several times and rotate the pulley, manually, to remove all the fluid.
The fluid is extremely hygroscopic: avoid leaving the containers open. Avoid leaving the compressor or any other component disconnected from the system for longer than is strictly necessary.
1. Recover the fluid drained from the compressor in a suitable transparent container (quantity A).2. Drain and recover the fluid from the new compressor (quantity B) in an identical container, following the instructions given previously.3. Introduce the same amount of fluid removed from the compressor being replaced into the new compressor (eliminate quantity C = B - A).
Refitting ( Removing ) Check that the compressor is not damaged.1. Reposition the compressor.2. Tighten the bolts fixing the compressor.
