) Position the vehicle on the rampProceed with removal Op. 5530B10 BATTERY - R+R.Proceed with removal Op. 5530B52 BATTERY DRIP TRAY/SUPPORT - R.R..1. Disconnect the gear engagement/selector cables.2. Remove the stops and release the gear engagement/selector cables from the mounting bracket.

1. Release the gear selector and engagement cables from the fastening on the steering box, then remove them from the engine compartment.

1. Tighten the nuts fastening the rigid section of the exhaust pipe between the catalytic converter and the silencer, silencer side.2. Undo the bolt fixing the exhaust silencer front mounting bracket.

1. Undo the bolts (1a) and remove the gear lever mounting (1b) after having released it from the gear selector/engagement cable rubber mountings.

Proceed with removal 7040L37 gear lever plate - r r .Proceed with removal 7040A65 passenger compartment box lock , one , r r .Proceed with removal 7040A19 cushion padding - r r .Proceed with removal Op. 7040A28 TRIM ON GEARBOX CONTROL PANEL - R.R..Proceed with removal 7040A30 Left instrument panel lower TRIM - R.R. .1. Undo the nuts (1a) and the bolt (1b) and remove the manual gear control (1c).

1. At the bench, disconnect the gear selector and engagement cables from the gearbox lever.2. Remove the gear selector and engagement cables (2a) releasing the clips (2b) from the support.

1. Remove the gearbox lever (1a) and the housing (1b) from the support.

Refitting ( Removing

) Place the manual gearbox control lever and the housing in the housing on the support.Place the gear selector and engagement cables in their housings securing the clips to the support.Connect the gear selector and engagement cables to the manual gearbox control lever.Place the manual gearbox control assembly in its housing and secure it using the nuts and the bolt.Proceed with refitting 7040A30 Left instrument panel lower TRIM - R.R. .Proceed with refitting Op. 7040A28 TRIM ON GEARBOX CONTROL PANEL - R.R..Proceed with refitting 7040A19 cushion padding - r r .Proceed with refitting 7040A65 passenger compartment box lock , one , r r .Proceed with refitting 7040L37 gear lever plate - r r .Place the gear lever mounting in its housing and secure it using the bolts.

Check that the gear selector/engagement cable rubber mountings are correctly positioned.

Tighten the bolt fixing the exhaust silencer front mounting bracket.Tighten the nuts fastening the rigid section of the exhaust pipe between the catalytic converter and the silencer, silencer side.Fit the gear selector and engagement cables in the engine compartment and fasten the band to the steering box.Position the gear selector and engagement cables in the housings in the mounting bracket and secure them using the clips.Connect the gear engagement/selector cables.

Adjust the gear selector cable Op. 2125C30 GEAR ENGAGEMENT CABLE - R R.

Proceed with refitting Op. 5530B52 BATTERY DRIP TRAY/SUPPORT - R.R..Proceed with refitting Op. 5530B10 BATTERY - R+R.Remove the car from the ramps.
