Removing ( Refitting ) 1. Open the tailgate and undo the bolts.2. Gently disconnect the switch and disconnect the electrical connections.

Refitting ( Removing ) Check that the switch is undamaged.Connect the electrical connections.Fit the switch and tighten the bolt.Check that the boot lights work.
