WARNINGS

Observe the following precautions when working on the front door assembly:

• When working on the hinges, take care not to damage the paintwork.
• Following a door adjustment operation that required the hinges to be moved, the door must be removed and the hinge area repainted.
• To remove, call on the assistance of a second operator and rest the tailgate on a stable support to avoid damage to the paintwork.

Work carefully on the fittings and use the recommended tools correctly to prevent damage.If the lock barrel is replaced, it is not possible to order a single barrel for a key or to order barrels using a single part code.To order barrels, follow the procedure given in 5580E - Special Accessories.

PRECAUTIONS

Before working on the electrical system (connectors, electrical components, wiring, etc.) turn the ignition key OFF and DISCONNECT THE BATTERY.
