The integrated services control unit
M40
manages the operation of the circuit.
The control unit
M40
is supplied
directly by the battery - in 8 of connector B - from the line for
maxifuse J/B2 of
B5
via fuse
B19
. Pin 13 of connector
B provides the earth.
An earth signal is sent to the control unit
M40
,
at pin 17 of connector B by operating the special control
H71
.
The control
H71 is illuminated when the
ignition is on INT - pin 2 from the line protected by the bridge
fuse B26.
Similarly, the switch
I33
is activated
via the key and an earth signal is sent to the control unit
M40
at pin 14 of connector B.
The latter sends a signal - pin 19 of connector
A - which energizes the boot opening relay
J56 which supplies
the boot locking geared motor N57 via the line protected by bridge fuse
F19.
The speedometer signal from the instrument
panel
E50
reaches pin 14 of connector A of
M40
.
A boot open signal reaches pin 17 of connector
A of
M40
which inhibits the unlocking.
