Place the vehicle on a ramp.Check that the tyre treads are not unevenly worn. Some types of tyres have wear indicators; the tyres must be replaced as soon as these indicators become visible.

Do not cross-interchange the tyres.

Check that the tyres pressures are correct, including the spare tyre.

The tyre pressures should be checked on cold tyres.

Earth the front brake pad wear indicator cable.Turn the ignition on (MAR).Press the brake pedal and check that the front brake pad wear warning light comes on.Check that the rubber gaiters on the drive shafts and power steering and the balljoint caps are not friction damaged or broken.Check that there are no leaks from the brake and fuel pipes/connectors. Refer to op.. 3330A10  BRAKE FLUID - Check level and top up, if necessary. . Refer to op.. 5530B18 electrolyte - check density and top up if necessary . Check and if necessary top up the windscreen washer fluid level (refer to Op. 5550A14 stalk unit support with modules - r+r ). Check and if necessary top up the power steering fluid level (refer to Op.   4130B14  Power assisted steering fluid reservoir CAP - R.R. - Check level and top up if necessary. ). Refer to op.. 1088A10 Engine COOLANT - Check density' and top up level, if necessary .  Refer to op.. 0010T12  engine oil and filter replace .  Refer to op.. 1048A14  air cleaner filtering element - replace. .  Refer to op.. 5010B09  purifying filter (antipollen) filter element - replace . Check and if necessary adjust the travel of the handbrake (refer to Op.   3380A04  handbrake - check travel ). Check and if necessary adjust the travel of the clutch pedal (refer to Op.   1820A14  clutch pedal - adjust travel ). Connect the EXAMINER or other diagnostic instruments to the diagnostic socket (select the control unit in question), then check the plausibility of all the parameters and if necessary carry out the available active diagnoses. Visually check that the alternator/water pump drive belt shows no signs of uneven wear or damage.Visually check that the power steering pump drive belt shows no signs of uneven wear or damage.Visually check that the air conditioner compressor drive belt shows no signs of uneven wear or damage. Refer to op.. 5510D10  spark plugs - r+r . Refer to op.. 1080A12 idling co level - check using special equipment and adjust speed . Remove the vehicle from the ramp.
