Removing ( Refitting ) Open the bonnet lid.1. Undo the four tabs (1a) to remove vapour cut-off solenoid (1b) from its seat on the activated carbon filter.2. Disconnect both pipes by undoing collar (2a) and disconnecting quick-release fitting (2b).3. Lift up the activated carbon filter and release from the connector behind. Then remove from the engine bay. Refitting ( Removing ) Check the condition of the activated carbon filter.Fit the filter and clip into place.Connect both evaporation control system pipes.Fit the cut-off solenoid in its seat. Check that the retaining tabs are correctly fitted.Close the bonnet lid.
