7040B23 back upper side trim (1), lh or rh - r r1. Remove the rear door and tailgate seals, near the side trim. 2. Undo the bolts (2a) fixing the side cover and the bolt (2b) securing
the running board.3. Lift up the kick plate (3a) slightly and release the end (3b)

Refitting

Check that the cover is undamaged.1. Refit the side trim.2. Connect the electrical connection.3. Lift up the kick plate (3a) slightly and attach the end (3b)
of the side trim. 4. Tighten the bolts (4a) fixing the side cover and the bolt (4b)
securing the running board.5. Fit the rear door and tailgate seals near the side trim.
